About DSJ Tire & Automotive Center
DSJ Tire & Automotive Center started in 2005 on Elmwood Avenue with a clear commitment: honest work, fair pricing, and reliable service. 19 years later, we're proud to be Philadelphia's trusted local auto shop.
Our story
DSJ Tire & Automotive Center opened on Elmwood Avenue in 2005. The goal was straightforward: provide honest, high-quality auto repair and tire services to Philadelphia drivers without high-pressure sales pitches or mystery charges on the invoice.
Over 19 years later, we're still running on those same principles. Our Elmwood Avenue shop has grown, our equipment has modernized, but our commitment to treating every customer like a neighbor remains unchanged.
How we work
Every repair starts with an accurate diagnosis. We inspect your vehicle thoroughly, explain what's wrong in plain language, and provide a clear written estimate before turning a single wrench. If something is borderline, we'll tell you honestly so you can prioritize based on your budget. No surprises, ever.
What services we provide
We work on all major vehicle makes and models — domestic, Asian, and European. Our services include auto repair, tire repair and replacement, car rental, oil changes, wheel alignment, brake service, suspension repair, emergency roadside assistance, auto tune-ups, and full tire shop services. Open 7 days a week from 9 AM to 7 PM.
Our standards
Our technicians bring decades of combined experience to every vehicle. We use quality OEM and premium aftermarket parts, proper torque specifications, and state-of-the-art diagnostic tools. We stand behind our work because doing it right the first time is the only way we operate.
